We were excited to attend CAGT with our Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Team. We shared and presented several sessions during the conference and had a wonderful time learning and collaborating in an in person setting! We have a special place in our hearts for gifted and talented students. They are often overlooked because they seem to thrive in any setting but are we really meeting their instructional needs? These are questions that we have pondered and hope to continue to work on. We know that GT students need voice, choice, authentic audience and extensions to their learning. They don't need more busy work and in our sessions, we offered ideas and ways to organize and work with this amazing group of learners.
