Screencastify - Your Go To Remote Learning Tool for Teachers and Students!

Remote learning calls for a completely different mindset as a teacher.  Trying to take the magic of what you were doing in the classroom and moving it to a totally online setting can be difficult.  When taking on remote learning, think about how less is really more!  That old adage holds some great truths in this new learning frontier.  If you were using a tool before with students, keep using it.  Don't try to add a lot of new things to your toolbox.  One of the few that you should add is Screencastify!  Students need to see your face and see you explain what they are supposed to do with their assignment.  Screencastify makes it so easy!

Screencastify is a Chrome extension and both students and teachers can add this on to their extension tools!  Just as you can explain a lesson using the drawing tools in Screencastify, so can your students explain their assignment, thinking and learning.  It automatically saves to your screencast to your Google Drive which allows you to share the link just like you would any google suite tool.

Here are the steps to adding Screencastify to your extension toolbar!
