Google Earth and
Google Earth Voyager have become one of the top resources to explore our amazing planet. Students can access this incredible resource on their Chromebooks too!
Open Google Earth and work through the menu on the upper left hand side. You will find:
Search - Type in any location
Voyager - Ready made trips
Projects - Create a project.
Here are a few to get you started! Map Style - Choose the interface you would like to use with your maps. Turn on 3D buildings, gridlines or animated clouds
Settings - Explore the flying options
Magnifying Glass Icon will take you to places, layers, guided tours or you can type in a location
Voyager Icon will give you an amazing list of places and virtual field trips already created
In the bottom right hand corner, you will find
pegman. Drop him anywhere to see the street view and explore the planet!
